Brewing Guide
Filter / Pourover Coffee
Brewing coffee is definitely an adventurous journey of variable manipulation. For most coffees, I usually recommend a simple 4-pour recipe using either a flat bottom or conical filter. My go-to method involves 4 pours, including the bloom, with a coffee-to-water ratio of 1:16.7 and a water temperature of 93 degrees Celsius.
Here’s an example:
- Coffee dose: 12g
- Water volume: 200g at 93C
- Grind Size: You will want to find the setting that tastes best to you
- First Pour: 0:00 - 50g
- Second Pour: 1:00 - 50g
- Third Pour: 1:30 - 50g
- Fourth Pour: 2:00 - 50g
This basic recipe is a great starting point and can be easily adjusted to suit your preferences. If you have any questions or want more details on brewing (like water composition, pouring structure, or what you can change), feel free to send us a message. Happy brewing! ☕😊
